In 2009 I team up with a Graphic designer and in a collaboration process with the client, a photographer, we developed his website specifically to his vision. Also I developed an alternative HTML website for non-flash viewers with PHP (see image below).

Flash Game – Roosters Run

I project managed this game and had a young talented designer to create all the graphics and drawings.
I programmed in Flash – Actionscript 3.0, did the animations and sounds for the game.
Also produced several animated banners to promote the game online.

Naturally submitting scores won’t work on this example.

I was responsible for coordinating all development of the Goricardo project between our technical and design teams and the team in Germany (Ricardo.de). This included advanced JavaScript programming for the development of the auction website and the use of my graphic design skills for all aesthetic consistency issues.

Year 2000:
The GIF format was king at the time allowing transparent Gaussian blurs and animated banners was the… the web as evolved a lot!

The “Espaço Jovem” webite incorporated a dynamic xml / Flash header section, that changed featured image and color scheme constantly, as well as having an alternate php hearder for the non-flash users.

Because of the economic crises the local council removed financing and website was removed.

Social Graphic Design in Portugal

Besides organizing the “Saturday Zen” events during 5 years I made all the posters that were photocopied on sometimes colored paper. This limitation gave me a field to experiment with a height contrast design.

I gave my fist original I.T. training Courses 8 Years ago and because it was such a success, I gave another course not long afterwards and continued creating I.T. courses and teaching teenagers and adults.

At that time I created a very simple webpage just to show some of the resulting games from the students.
